Raffles University Iskandar (RUI) is a multi-faculty and comprehensive university providing excellent opportunities for young people to achieve their full potential and develop themselves into successful professionals and world leaders.

We are the only private higher education institution in the Johor State, approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, to offer university Bachelor degrees in Design. RUI also provides a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Business and Social Sciences, including Education and Psychology. All available programmes are fully approved and certified by the Malaysian Government.

Most of our programmes include a compulsory work experience period, proving our commitment to being a university for the industries. We are proud to have academic staff from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, USA, Denmark, Malaysia and many other countries working closely with our students offering them a high quality university education experience in Iskandar Malaysia.

RUI is also proud to be one of the latest and most ambitious developments of the Raffles Education Corporation (REC), the largest private higher education group in the Asia Pacific region. With its successful 22 year history, REC owns and manages 33 colleges and institutions of higher learning in 30 cities, across 13 countries, including Singapore, China, Indonesia, India, Malaysia and Australia.

RUI is currently operating from temporary premises at Menara Kotaraya, Jalan Trus, Johor Bahru, and will relocate into a new state-of-the-art campus, set on a 65-acre plot of land at prestigious Iskandar Malaysia’s EduCity Zone in the near future.
