Bachelor of Multimedia Design (Honours)
Programme Overview
RUI’s programme covers both theoretical and practical aspects of this exciting career. Students will learn about art history, printing history, woodblock printing, typefaces, how fonts are used today, where they come from historically and how new printing styles are developed. They will also be given background knowledge to understand that being a designer is all about engaging people emotionally. Our BA in Multimedia Design will also demystify the idea that design and creativity can’t be taught.
On the practical side, students will have access to the latest tools in multimedia software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator. Photography, video editing, web design, animation, 3D graphics and print design are also covered in this programme. RUI is proud to offer our students a new computer laboratory with the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite.
